Mumbai, May 15: Mumbai Indians marched to the top of the points table in IPL 2013 with a 14-run victory against Rajasthan Royals in their final home game here at Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday night. With this success, MI capped off the home run with an all-win record, 8 out of 8.

Scorecard: Over-by-over runs

MI notched up their 11th win in IPL 6. With 22 points from 15 games, they have the top position on better run rate than Chennai Super Kings (22 points from 15 matches). MI defended their total of 166 as RR fought till the final over but fell short by 14 runs.

# It was a rare sight to see Rahul Dravid losing cool after being wrongly given out caught behind by umpire Sudhir Asnani

# Dravid was furious with the decision and was see uttering few words as he walked back to the dugout

# Replays showed that Dravid had not edged the ball from Johnson

# There were also some heated exchanges between Shane Watson and Kieron Pollard when the former walked out to bat

# Later, Pollard caught out Watson and there was a long running celebration as if to make a point to Watson. It did not end there. When Pollard was fielding at the boundary, close to RR dugout, still some words were exchanged with Watson. Rahul Dravid calmed Watson down and sent him back to the dressing room

# Sachin Tendulkar was ruled out of the match due to an injury

# Aditya Tare, who played his first game of the season, top scored for MI with 59 off 37 balls with 8 fours and 1 six

# Tare won the man of the match award

# It was a fine comeback for Tare as he played his first IPL game in 3 years

# MI had a new opening combination with Glenn Maxwell and Tare at the top

# Maxwell made 23 off 17 balls with 3 sixes

# MI hit 15 fours and 6 sixes

# RR hit 15 fours and 4 sixes

# After 6 overs, MI were 49/1
