Yes I did something wrong: Ankeet Chavan

New Delhi, May 17: Rajasthan Royals player Ankeet Chavan has reportedly confessed to Delhi police on Friday that he was involved in IPL spot-fixing.

According to "Times Now" news channel report, Chavan admitted to Delhi police that he made a "mistake."

"Yes, I did something wrong," Chavan told Delhi police, according to the TV report.

Chavan, S Sreesanth and Ajit Chandila were on Thursday arrested by Delhi police for their allegedly role in spot-fixing in the current edition of IPL.

Left-arm spinner Chavan allegedly got Rs 60 lakhs for conceding a fixed amount of runs during RR's game against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday (May 15).

All three cricketers were sent to five days of police custody on Thursday evening. Sreesanth's lawyer, on Friday, claimed that his client is innocent.
