New Delhi, May 21: Two-time champions Chennai Super Kings made it to a 5th final in 6 years of Indian Premier League (IPL) with a resounding 48-run victory over Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 1 here at Feroz Shah Kotla on Tuesday night. MI will have another chance on May 24 to reach the title clash as they face the winners of Eliminator game between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Once CSK had 192/1 batting first, they had one foot in the final. The bowlers complemented well despite an early onslaught by opener Dwayne Smith. MI's chase ended at 144 all out in 18.4 overs.

Earlier, left-handers Michael Hussey (86 not out) and Suresh Raina (82 not out) powered CSK to a mammoth 192/1 in 20 overs. Hussey and Raina's unfinished partnership for 2nd wicket yielded 140 runs in just 76 balls. Hussey reclaimed the Orange Cap and now has 732 runs this season.
