Mumbai, May 25: BCCI president N Srinivsan remained defiant and said he will not resign from his position amid controversy surrounding his franchise Chennai Super Kings and son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan. "I can't be bulldozed or railroaded into resigning," he said.
Srinivasan, making his first official comments to the media on Saturday afternoon after his son-in-law was arrested on Friday night, was adamant.
The BCCI chief arrived in Mumbai on Saturday afternoon to meet Gurunath.
As he came out of the Mumbai airport, he spoke briefly to the waiting media.
"I have done nothing wrong," Srinivasan said.
"I have no intention to resign. I cannot be bulldozed or railroaded into resigning. BCCI will follow strictly all its rules, law will take its course," he added.
