IPL: Raj Kundra confesses to betting
New Delhi, June 6: Rajasthan Royals' co-owner Raj Kundra has confessed to betting on IPL games involving his team, Delhi police said on Thursday.

Kundra, who was questioned by the police on Wednesday for more than 12 hours, said he did admit that he had placed bets on matches involving RR and had incurred heavy losses according to TV reports.

Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar confirmed that Raj Kundra had placed bets through his friend and business partner Umesh Goenka.

RR's three players, S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested last month for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing.

Earlier in the day, Shilpa Shetty was upset with the media over "derogatory statements" on her husband, Raj Kundra. She took to Twitter to express her anger. She said "Umesh Goenka has misused Raj Kundra's name."
