London, June 11: India batsman Virat Kohli will complete a century today when he takes the field against West Indies in a Group B match in Champions Trophy here at The Oval.
Kohli will play in his 100th One Day International today (June 11). The young right-handed batsman will be the 30th from India to reach the milestone.
The 24-year-old Kohli has so far scored 4,085 runs in 99 ODIs since making debut against Sri Lanka in Dambulla in 2008. He has been one of the best Indian batsmen in ODIs in recent times. The Delhi boy has registered 13 hundreds and 22 half centuries. His highest score in the shorter format is 183.
Also today, offspinner R Ashwin is set to play in his 50th ODI. The 26-year-old made his debut against Zimbabwe in 2010 in Harare. He has 66 wickets in 49 matches.
