Dravid plays for his club, scores 69

Bangalore, June 12: Rahul Dravid's love for batting has not diminished even after retiring from international cricket last year. A few days after the Twenty20 grind in Indian Premier League with Rajasthan Royals, Dravid padded up again - this time for his club Bangalore United Cricket Club (1) here and scored a half century.

It was a return to whites and league cricket for the former India captain. Dravid played for BUCC (1) in Karnataka State Cricket Association's (KSCA) Group I Division II tournament and scored a fine 69.

"The Wall" inspired his team to an innings and 91-run win against Standard Cricket Club over the weekend (June 8 and 9) in the two-day game for the MAT Acharya Shield played at NRA ground here in the city.

Dravid is expected to play few more matches this month.
