London, June 14: Sri Lanka stayed alive in the Champions Trophy, thanks to a superb unbeaten century by Kumar Sangakkara. The left-hander's 134 not out steered the team past England in a Group A clash at The Oval.
Chasing 294, Sangakkara and Nuwan Kulasekara starred with the bat as the Islanders were home in 47.1 overs with seven wickets to spare on Thursday's (June 13) day-night game. Sangakkara won the Man-of-the-match award.
