Port of Spain, July 6: In his second match as captain, Virat Kohli struck a fine century to power India to a big 102-run victory over West Indies in a Celkon Mobile Cup tri-series match here on Friday (July 6).
After two successive losses, India bounced back to winning ways and have kept alive their chances of entering the final. The 102-run win also gave India a bonus point.
Kohli hit 102, his 14th ODI hundred as India posted 311/7 in 50 overs. In reply, West Indies were bowled out for 171 as rain had interrupted their chase. The revised Duckworth/Lewis target was 274 from 39 overs.
