Port of Spain, July 10: India stormed into the final of Celkon Mobile Cup tri-series with an 81-run victory (Duckworth/Lewis method) over Sri Lanka in the last league match here on Tuesday (July 9).

Scorecard; Match Report

Rain had interrupted play for more than four and half hours and India's innings ended with 29 overs. They were 119/3 at the stage and Sri Lanka were set a tough 178-run target from 26 overs according to Duckworth/Lewis calculations.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar took charge in India's bowling innings as he destroyed Sri Lanka with a four-wicket haul. Sri Lanka were bowled out for 96 in 24.4 overs.

It will be India, Sri Lanka again in the final on July 11 (Thursday). India topped the table with 10 points while Sri Lanka edged West Indies for final spot on better net run rate as both teams were tied with 9 points each.
