Ranchi, Aug 1: There is a new member in India captain MS Dhoni's house. And she has been named by Dhoni as Leah.
The new entrant into Dhoni family is a rescued stray pup in Ranchi which was adopted by the skipper. The Indian captain himself said he had adopted the pup from Hope and Animal Trust in Ranchi.
Dhoni took to the social networking site - Twitter to announce the arrival of Leah. "Adopted a rescued pup from Hope and Animal Trust Ranchi .v call her Leah in English and Liya in Hindi," he tweeted.
In 2011, Dhoni had adopted a nine-year-old tiger named 'Agasthya' in Mysore's Zoo.
Dhoni is currently enjoying a break from cricket. He came back recently from the US after holidaying there for few days.
Team India are playing in Zimbabwe in a five-match ODI series. Virat Kohli is leading the side in Dhoni's absence. India have taken an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the series.
Dhoni will next be seen in action in the Champions League next month, playing for Chennai Super Kings. CLT20 starts on September 17 in India. CSK's first match is against the Titans on September 22 in Ranchi.
