Mumbai, Aug 8: Pakistan's Twenty20 team - Faisalabad Wolves' participation in the Champions League T20 (CLT20) here in India next month is in doubt after the BCCI put on hold thevisa process of players.
This development comes after the killing of five Indian soldiers by Pakistan Army in Poonch on Tuesday (August 6), according to a report in "Hindustan Times" today.
Faisalabad Wolves are the only Pakistan team in CLT20 which begins on September 17 in Hyderabad. Wolves have to play the qualifying round to make the main draw.
Wolves' opening match is against New Zealand's Otago Volts in Hyderabad on September 17.
"The Board was set to start the visa process for the teams, but are now keeping on hold the process involving the Pakistan team as of now after Tuesday's attacks," a source told the newspaper.
