New Delhi, Aug 13: India batsman Virat Kohli is all set to get Arjuna Award as the selection panel on Tuesday recommended his name.
Kohli has been in great batting form in recent times. He was elevated to India captaincy in MS Dhoni's absence for the Zimbabwe tour of five One Day Internationals recently.
In his first full tour as skipper, Kohli led the team to a historic 5-0 clean sweep over Zimbabwe. It was India's first ever whitewash series win on foreign soil in ODIs.
The 24-year-old right-hander from Delhi has so far played 18 Tests, 113 ODIs and 20 Twenty20 Internationals. Kohli had led India Under-19 to World Cup victory in 2008.
