Virat Kohli upset with Indian media
Bangalore, Aug 14: India batsman Virat Kohli is upset with the media for misinterpreting and making articles out of his statements.

Kohli took to the micro blogging site Twitter to express his displeasure with the media though he did not mention on what issue he was upset it.

Maybe Kohli was referring to his comments on Rohit Sharma on Tuesday (August 13). Kohli had said Rohit had a "tremendous cricketing brain". It was reported by sections of media that Kohli termed Rohit as "captaincy material". This could have upset Kohli.

Today, he tweeted: "It's crazy how things are misinterpreted and made articles out of and even headlines. What a lesson."

Yesterday, Kohli was recommended for Arjuna Award. He said he was happy to get the honour.

"Really happy to get the arjuna award. Happiest moment yet. Thank you everyone for the wishes. :)," Kohli had written on his Twitter page.

The 24-year-old led India to a historic 5-0 clean sweep over Zimbabwe. MS Dhoni was rested for the series due to an injury.

Kohli has so far scored 1175 runs in 18 Tests at an average of 41.96, including four hundreds and six fifties. In ODIs, he has 4575 runs in 113 matches at an average of 49.72 with 15 hundreds and 24 half-centuries.
