Chandigarh, Aug 22: Watching left-hander Arjun Tendulkar bat has reminded Yuvraj Singh of his younger days, the batsman has said.

Arjun, son of Sachin Tendulkar, was batting at the 'nets' which was watched by Yuvraj. Seeing the way the young Tendulkar was practising, the left-hander tweeted that he reminded him of his younger days at Chandigarh's Sector 16 Stadium.

Yuvraj praises Arjun Tendulkar

"Watching Arjun tendulkar bat! Reminding me of my younger days at sector 16 stadium chandigarh!," tweeted Yuvraj on Wednesday (August 21). He also tagged Sachin his in tweet.

Yuvraj, who has been out of the Indian team, recently returned from France after a rigorous training in Europe. He and Zaheer Khan trained together in France. Both are working hard with an eye on ICC World Cup 2015.

Arjun was last month dropped from Mumbai Under-14 30-player probables list due to bad form. Now, back to the 'nets' he is aiming to reclaim his place.

A Mumbai selector was quoted in the media saying Arjun's fielding was not up to the mark. "There are so many people involved with Arjun's coaching but still, his fielding is nowhere near todays standards. He needs to improve a lot in that area. His batting is fine but he needs to convert starts into big scores like the other promising young players," a selector was quoted as saying in a newspaper.
