Mumbai, Sep 3: It is confirmed now that Sachin Tendulkar will play his 200th Test in India. The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) today agreed to tour India for two Tests and three One Day Internationals in November.
"The West Indies Cricket Board today confirmed that the West Indies team will tour India in November," a media statement from WICB said.
"The tour will include a two Test series and three One Day Internationals. The WICB and the Board of Control for Cricket in India agreed to utilize the mutually available window in November for the tour," it added.
The Indian tour will precede the West Indies trip to New Zealand which is scheduled to commence on December 3, 2013 and conclude on January 15, 2014.
The full India tour schedule will be released following final agreement by the two boards, WICB said.
Bangalore or Kolkata is expected to host the first Test while Mumbai will be the venue for Tendulkar's landmark 200th Test.
BCCI will announce the dates and venues soon.
