You might be wondering whether Saqlain is coming out of retirement or is he playing for West Indies. No, he is not. But the former Pakistan offspinner is training the Caribbean slow bowlers on the art of bowling "doosras".
According to a report in "The Times of India", Saqlain is at a special camp in Barbados ahead of West Indies' tour to India in November.
West Indies will play two Tests and three One Day Internationals against India in November. The second and final Test of the series will be Tendulkar's 200th five-day match.
"Touring India is always a challenge for any team and now that Sachin will be playing his 200th Test, the pressure will be more on the bowlers. At the moment, I'm assessing our spinners keeping all these factors in mind," Saqlain told the newspaper on Tuesday.
Devendra Bishoo, Shane Shillingford, Ashley Nash are learning the art of "doosra" from Saqlain.
Saqlain, however, will not be travelling with the West Indies team on their tour to India. He will take up the job of spin coach with Bangladesh.
