Bangalore, Sep 16: Team India is all set to be on the field in the new cricket season in a new uniform.

India's international season will start next month with a limited overs series against Australia at home. And the Indian players will be sporting new Nike blue jerseys and trousers that were unveiled on Monday. Nike is the official apparel sponsor of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Offspinner R Ashwin tweeted his picture wearing the new jersey. Also, paceman Umesh Yadav tweeted his photo.

There were few youngsters at the jersey unveiling for whom it was a dream come true, said a surprised Ashwin.

"Surprised a few young cricketers with the new India jersey. Sure was a dream come true for them! Thanks @nikecricket @bcci #BleedBlue," Ashwin wrote on his Twitter page.

Umesh tweeted: "-The new India uniform from @nikecricket is here! Ye ladka khush ho gaya! @bcci #BleedBlue".

Last year, in August, Nike had launched new Twenty20 kit for the team.
