New Delhi, Sep 21: As the debate over Sachin Tendulkar's future as an international cricketer continues, batsman Virat Kohli on Saturday said it is best to leave the Master Blaster alone and allow him to take a call on his retirement.
Recently, there were reports that BCCI chief selector Sandeep Patil had spoken to Tendulkar and asked him to take a call after his landmark Test. However, Patil denied having met the 40-year-old batsman.
Kohli, who was at "India Today Mind Rocks Youth Summit 2013" here, was asked about Tendulkar's retirement.
"He should be left alone with his decision (retiring). He has earned that respect over 23 years playing for the country," Kohli said.
