Ahmedabad, Sep 25: Heavy rain in Ahmedabad has forced the organisers of the Champions League 2013 to shift one of the matches to Jaipur.
On Wednesday, the organisers announced that the September 27 Group A game between Mumbai Indians and Lions was moved to Jaipur (Sawai Mansingh Stadium) from Ahmedabad.
Two matches were washed out without a ball bowled on Monday at Ahmedabad's Sardar Patel Stadium. Mumbai Indians and Otago Volts had to share points while the same was the case for Perth Scorchers and Lions.
"#CLT20 Group A game between @mipaltan and @HighveldLions , which was slated to be played at Ahmedabad on 27 Sept, has been shifted to Jaipur," was tweeted from CLT20's official Twitter handle @clt20 on Wednesday.
"The match ( @mipaltan vs. @HighveldLions ) will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, at 8:00 pm IST on 27 Sept," another tweet added.
Tickets for the game will be refunded at the Sardar Patel Stadium's box office from September 27 to October 2.
"Tickets refund for the Ahmedabad game (Sept 27) can be claimed from the Box Office at the Sardar Patel Stadium from Sept 27 to Oct 2."
"All tickets purchased through the internet will be refunded online. The Refund counter will not be open on Sept 30."
However, the organisers have not made a decision yet on September 30 matches in Ahmedabad. Titans will face Trinidad and Tobago while Brisbane Heat lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday.
