Jaipur, Oct 5: Rajasthan Royals' veteran legspinner Pravin Tambe is hoping his dream turns into reality and he gets an opportunity to bowl to Sachin Tendulkar in the final of Champions League 2013 on Sunday (October 6).
The 41-year-old Tambe is not only awaiting his turn to bowl to the Master Blaster but his wish is to take his wicket at the Feroz Shah Kotla.
Tambe took three wickets for 10 runs in 4 overs on Friday night (October 4) as Rajasthan Royals beat Chennai Super Kings by 14 runs and reached the final.
RR could face Mumbai Indians in the final if the latter defeat Trinidad and Tobago in tonight's second semi-final.
"Everyone dreams of bowling to the Master (Sachin Tendulkar). And it is my wish to take his wicket, now let's see what happens," Tambe told CLT20's official website on Friday night after the match.
When asked about his stock delivery, Tambe said: "I like the flipper a lot."
Tambe, who has not played even a single first-class game, has been a revelations in CLT20. He is currently the leader in "Golden Wicket" table with 10 wickets.
On the Feroz Shah Kotla wicket, where they will play the title clash, he said: "I never see the wicket and bowl. Whether the wicket is turning or it is flat, I bowl to my strengths. I focus and practice where I have to bowl."
Tambe praised CSK captain MS Dhoni and said he is never under pressure while batting.
"Dhoni never comes under any pressure in any situation. He is Mr. Cool. He plays his game no matter what the situation is," he said.
