New Delhi, Oct 6: Sachin Tendulkar added another record to his illustrious career when he became the first Asian batsman to complete 50,000 runs across all formats during the Champions League 2013 semi-final here on Saturday night (October 5).
Tendulkar started the match against Trinidad and Tobago needing 26 more to reach the landmark. During his innings at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Tendulkar scored 35 and crossed the 50,000-run milestone. Overall Tendulkar is the 16 in the club. MI defeated TT by six wickets to reach CLT20 final.
Englishman Graham Gooch leads the record tally for most runs with 67,057 runs.
Tendulkar now has 50,009 runs from 953 matches (307 First-class, 551 List A and 95 T20s). His run-tally is - First-class: 25228, List A: 21999, T20: 2782.
The 40-year-old Master Blaster's aggregate will be 50,009 and counting as he is set to play in his final T20 Sunday night against Rajasthan Royals and next month will be seen in acion in Test cricket where he will play his historic 200th match.
