Rajkot, Oct 10: Yuvraj Singh made a superb comeback to the Indian team with a 35-ball 77 not out to script the team's six-wicket win over Australia in the one off Twenty20 International here at the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) Stadium on Thursday night.
Yuvraj registered his highest T20I score as India won in the final over chasing 202.
Earlier, Aaron Finch's 52-ball 89 catapulted Australia to a mammoth 201/7 in 20 overs.
Finch and debutant Nic Maddinson gave Australia a flying start. Glenn Maxwell, in the middle order, too made a quick 27 and the visitors crossed the 200-run mark.
India captain MS Dhoni won the toss and sent Australia to bat. On a good batting pitch, they made merry. Offspinner R Ashwin suffered, conceding 41 runs for no success in his two-over spell.
