Bangalore, Oct 10: Former India batsman Sanjay Manjrekar found himself in an embarrassing situation when a Direct Message (DM) meant for IPL CEO Sundar Raman, was accidentally tweeted.
Manjrekar, who is now part of the Star TV commentary team for cricket, expressed his displeasure over being dropped for the India-Australia limited overs series which starts today with a T20I in Rajkot.
"Sundar, I have now been kicked off from studio for Ind / Aus by Star. Don't you think this is a bit harsh. I have a contract with them", Manjrekar tweeted.
After realising his mistake, Manjrekar immediately deleted the tweet but several people on Twitter had already taken screen-shots of the same message.
In another tweet, he clarified, "A tweet that I deleted immediately has become a bit of a talking point. It was a segment of a private chat that erroneously got onto twitter".

There were reports that Manjrekar was axed from the commentary team for expressing his views on the controversial Decision Review System (DRS).
