Mumbai, Oct 15: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced that Sachin Tendulkar's 200th and final Test will be held at the Wankhede Stadium here from November 14 to 18.
The Indian cricket board's programmes and fixtures committee met today to decide the venues for the India-West Indies two-Test series and three-match ODI rubber.
Kolkata's Eden Gardens will be the setting for Tendulkar's 199th Test. It will be held from November 6 to 10.
Tendulkar recently announced his retirement from Test cricket. The Master Blaster will bow out of international cricket after playing his 200th Test, which is a world record.
The 40-year-old Tendulkar had requested the BCCI to hold his final Test in Mumbai. Now his wish has been granted.
