Mohali, Oct 19: James Faulkner blasted a 29-ball 64 not out to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat for Australia.

In a last-over thriller at the PCA Stadium on Saturday night, Faulkner left the Indians stunned with his assault on Ishant Sharma where he ransacked 30 runs in the 48th over.

Faulkner's blitz gave Australia a four-wicket triumph with three balls to spare while chasing 304.

Earlier, captain MS Dhoni produced one of the best limited overs knocks as he hit a 121-ball 139 not out to pilot India to 303/9 in 50 overs.

Dhoni pulled the team out of the woods with a superb century. From 76/4 in 13 overs, Dhoni took India past the 300-run mark.
