Huge demand for passes to watch Sachin's final Ranji Trophy game

Sachin's final Ranji game live on TV

Bangalore, Oct 21: As Sachin Tendulkar gets ready to play his final Ranji Trophy match for Mumbai against Haryana in Lahli, Rohtak, there is a huge demand for complimentary passes to watch the Master Blaster's farewell innnings.


For those who cannot make it to the ground, they have the option of switching on their TV sets and catch the action on all four days. Star TV will telecast the match Live.

The secretary of Haryana Cricket Association (HCA), Anirudh Chaudhary is flooded with requests for passes for this four-day game from October 27 (Sunday).

Several requests are coming to him via Twitter. And Chaudhary, who is also BCCI's treasurer, handed out complimentary tickets for lucky 25 fans on Sunday (October 20).

"Lots of requests for the complimentaries for the Ranji game between Haryana and Mumbai! 1200 requests in 3 hours today! :)," Chaudhary tweeted on Sunday.

In another tweet, he added "Some requests over twitter too!".

He called upon fans via Twitter to send an email to HCA and win passes. He picked first 25 who sent out the email.

"The first 25 emails on the email address that I will post in the next tweet will get 1 complimentary ticket each," he wrote on his Twitter page.

Tendulkar, after this Ranji Trophy game, will play against West Indies in a two-match series starting November 6. The second and final Test will be his 200th and last international match.
