Kolkata, Nov 9: Sachin Tendulkar managed just 10 runs in his 199th Test but what was satisfying for the Master Blaster was being part of the winning Indian team against West Indies at the Eden Gardens.
Tendulkar's farewell series has begun on a victorious note and he will be hoping to sign off in similar fashion in Mumbai when the second and final Test of the series starts on November 14.
Mumbai match will be Tendulkar's 200th and last. It was disappointing for many to see a lot of empty seats in Kolkata but it could be different at Wankhede Stadium.
At the end of Kolkata Test, Tendulkar was honoured and the best moment of the match for the fans was former India captain Sourav Ganguly felicitating and hugging the Master Blaster.
