Mumbai, Nov 11: Cricket fans were left disappointed on Monday morning after the website which was to sell tickets for Sachin Tendulkar's final Test online crashed.
The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) had announced that kyazoonga.com will sell tickets for Tendulkar's 200th and final Test.
The sale of tickets online was to open from 11 AM on Monday (November 11) according to MCA. But many fans could not log onto the website with the message from the portal displayed "The service is unavailable" and "Server is too busy". All tickets for public, numbering 3,500 were to be sold online and not available at the stadium's counters.
"Tickets for the 2nd Test Match between India and West Indies to be held from 14th to 18th November 2013 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai will be on sale online November 11, 2013 from 11 am onwards on kyazoonga.Com," MCA had said in a statement issued on Sunday (November 10).
"Only 2 tickets per person can be booked online," MCA added.
Many fans too the micro-blogging site to vent their ire at the website and also at the way cricket administrations is run in India.
Tendulkar's 200th and final Test will be played at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium from November 14.
