Team India arrives in South Africa

Johannesburg, Dec 2: Team India arrived here on Monday to play a bilateral ODI and Test series against South Africa starting from December 5.

MS Dhoni-led ODI squad landed in Johannesburg on Monday. The first match of the three-ODI series starts here on December 5.

After the ODIs, India and South Africa will play two Tests, from December 18.

This will be the first Test series for India without Sachin Tendulkar. Since 1989, Tendulkar has been a regular in the Test team. The Master Blaster retired from international cricket last month after playing his 200th Test.

Before leaving India on Sunday (December 1), Dhoni called it a fresh start for the team in the absence of Tendulkar.
