Durban, Dec 8: Quinton de Kock hit his second successive century while Indian batsmen yet again failed and handed the One Day International Series to South Africa 2-0 here on Sunday.


De Kock followed up his 139 in Johannesburg with 106 at Kingsmead today. His opening partner Hashim Amla too scored a century in the home team's 134-run victory.

Due to wet outfield, the match was reduced to 49 overs. South Africa scored 280/6 after being sent to bat by MS Dhoni for the second game in a row.

In reply, India were out of the hunt when they were reeling at 34/4 in 8.4 overs. They never recovered and folded for a dismal 146 in 35.1 overs. In the first ODI they were bowled out for 217 and humiliated by 141 runs.
