BCCI's website 'hacked, defaced'; now 'under maintenance'

Mumbai, Jan 27: The Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) website was hacked and defaced on Monday.

The Indian cricket board's website bcci.tv homepage had the message "Under maintenance" on Monday morning after under attack by a hacker.

BCCI's website hacked: Reports

According to reports, prior to this message, there was "Hacked by Ashik." On the About Us page, the hacker posted a photo of the Bangladesh national team running with the country's flag and a message below it that read, "Don'T MesS UP WitH TiGeRs!"

It is reported that the name of the hacker is Ashik Iqbal Chy from Bangladesh. The attack is in response to the ICC's overhaul which gives more more to BCCI, Cricket Australia (CA) and England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
