Bangalore, Jan 29: Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Michael Hussey, Mitchell Johnson are among the players who have received the highest base price of Rs 2 crore for the 2014 Indian Premier League (IPL 7) Player Auction.
The Player Auction will be held in Bangalore on February 12 and 13. As many as 233 capped players' names have been released by IPL.
Sehwag, who is struggling for form and is currently out of the Indian team, has attracted the maximum base price along with Yuvraj.
Other Indians who are in the Rs 2 crore group are Robin Uthappa, Praveen Kumar, Pragyan Ojha, Dinesh Karthik, Amit Mishra, Ashish Nehra, Yusuf Pathan, Manoj Tiwary and Murali Vijay.
Australians Brad Hodge, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, George Bailey, Brad Haddin, Brett Lee, Shaun Marsh and James Pattinson are also in the Rs 2 crore club.
The highest bid price is Rs 2 crore and the lowest is Rs 30 lakhs.
There are 46 capped Indians in the list and same number of players from Australia.
