IPL 7 Auction: Yuvraj costliest player

Bangalore, Feb 12: Yuvraj Singh was the biggest buy on the opening day of the IPL 7 Players' Auction. The left-hander went to Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 14 crores.

List of players sold; Unsold players

There were 511 players (Eoin Morgan, Chris Morris and Brad Haddin have withdrawn). On the first day, 216 of them went under the hammer. The second and final day of auction is tomorrow (10 AM IST start).

IPL Chairman Ranjib Biswal made the opening remarks saying the tournament has grown bigger and more popular. "It is a grand affair. IPL has grown bigger and more popular. It will be more grander in 7th edition," he said.
