According to a report in "The Telegraph" on Friday, Sri Lanka's Muralitharan and Younis of Pakistan will be in Kolkata for a four-day camp at the Jadavpur University Salt Lake Campus ground from March 15.
Former India captain Sourav Ganguly will be the batting consultant.
"We can't have the camp once the monsoon sets in... So we decided to go with Waqar," a senior CAB official was quoted in the report.
The report added that Ganguly wanted West Indies' Curtly Ambrose as pace consultant but he was not available.
