While most warm-up matches involve just the routine 20-over-per-side contest, Australia and the Kiwis have agreed to spice up the clash by adding five-over-per-side and a Super Over besides the T20 affair today at Fatullah. So, in all it will be 26 overs and not 20.
According to a report on Cricket Australia's (CA) website and a tweet from the official handle of New Zealand Cricket (NZC), it will be first the T20 match followed by 5-over contest and a Super Over.
"Today we'll play a T20, then a five over match, then a Super Over v @CricketAus here at Fatullah as #wt20 warm up," tweeted NZC on Wednesday afternoon.
The match will be played from 2 PM local time (1.30 PM IST).
Both Australia and New Zealanda are aiming to win their first ever World T20 crown.
