Mirpur, Mar 22: Spinners starred as India eased to a seven-wicket victory over Pakistan in their opening game of the ICC World Twenty20 2014 yesterday.

It was expected to a be a thriller at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium but in the end it turned out to be a one-sided affair in favour of Team India.

After restricting Pakistan to 130/7 in 20 overs, India won by seven wickets with 9 balls to spare.

Virat Kohli (36 not out) top scored for India in the chase while there were useful contributions from all others, with the exception of Yuvraj Singh.
