No ban on Chennai Super Kings and RR

New Delhi, Mar 28: In a major relief to the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Supreme Court today allowed Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals to continue in the league.

The Supreme Court has said there will not be disqualification of any IPL team. Supreme Court also appointed Sunil Gavaskar as BCCI president in place of N Srinivasan.

Yesterday, Supreme Court had asked BCCI to suspend CSK and RR. IPL 7 will start as per schedule on April 16 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
