Controversy-hit Chennai Super Kings are the most successful team in IPL history. With back-to-back titles in 2011 and 2012 and three runner-up achievements, CSK are the most consistent franchise too. MS Dhoni's captaincy will yet again be the key for CSK if they have to go all the way in IPL 7.

CSK retained their full quota of five players - Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo and R Ashwin. They will once again been seen in yellow jerseys. With these five and Faf du Plessis bought back with right to match card, CSK have familiar faces this year.
