Dubai, Apr 16: Australian left-handed batsman Michael Hussey is called "Mr Cricket". However, for this young Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman, that title suits better for AB de Villiers of South Africa.
"He (AB de Villiers) is Mr Cricket for me. He can do everything. He can keep (wickets), he can field as a tiger and bat in any situation so that kind of a mindset I would like to take from him," Zol told IPL's official website as he spoke about the South Africa ODI captain.
De Villiers, Chris Gayle and skipper Virat Kohli were the three players retained by RCB for this year's IPL.
Zol was bought by RCB at the players' auction in February. He was part of the franchise earlier too. The left-handed batsman from Maharashtra said he is enjoying his stay at RCB.
"I have been enjoying in RCB. They have been kind to me. I have learnt a lot in the last couple of years because of being around the big names (in cricket). It has helped," the 19-year-old said.
IPL 7 begins today in Abu Dhabi with defending champions Mumbai Indians playing Kolkata Knight Riders.
