Six India-Pakistan series from 2015

Lahore, May 15: There is good news for India and Pakistan cricket fans. Both countries' boards have agreed to play six full series between 2015 and 2023.

Since the terrorist attacks on Mumbai in 2008, India had suspended all bilateral series with the neighbours. However, Pakistan did tour India for a short limited overs series in December, 2012-January 2013.

Yesterday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has signed a memorandum of understanding with India to play six full series, "AFP" news agency reported.

"The Future Tours Programme (FTP) for Pakistan between 2015 and 2023 will have six tours with India, four of which will be hosted by Pakistan," Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief operating officer Subhan Ahmed told "AFP".

According to Ahmad, "14 Tests, 30 one-days and 12 T20s" will be played between India and Pakistan.

The PCB expected the tours to be written into legally binding agreements "as soon as possible," he added.
