Kolkata, May 22: Robin Uthappa's world record half century powered Kolkata Knight Riders into the playoffs of IPL 7 after a 30-run victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore today.


Uthappa hit an unbeaten 83 off 51 as KKR posted 195/4 in 20 overs. In reply, RCB were kept to 165/5. With this loss at the Eden Gardens, RCB are out of the playoffs race.
