India tour of Australia 2014-15 schedule announced

Melbourne, June 23: India will tour Australia later this year for a four-match Test rubber and a One Day International series involving the hosts and England.

India will begin the tour with a two-day tour game from November 24. There is one more two-day practice game scheduled. The first Test against Australia starts in Brisbane on December 4.

After the four-Test series, India will lock horns with Australia and England in a ODI tri-series just before the World Cup which will be held in Australia and New Zealand early 2015. The tri-series will be played from January 16, to February 1.

During the last tour in 2011-2012, India lost the four-match Test series 0-4. World Cup 2015 starts on February 14. India's first match is on February 15 against Pakistan in Adelaide.

November 28 to 29 - Two-day two game in Adelaide (opposition to be confirmed)

December 4 to 8 - First Test, Brisbane

December 12 to 16 - Second Test, Adelaide

December 26 to 30 - Third Test, Melbourne

January 3 to 7 - Fourth and final Test, Sydney
