London, July 22: MS Dhoni and his boys ended India's 28-year wait for a Test victory at Lord's. India defeated England by 95 runs on the fifth and final day of the second Test yesterday (July 21).

Scorecard; 7 reasons for win

Ishant Sharma was India's bowling hero on the final day as he ripped through the hosts' batting line-up with a seven-wicket haul. Ishant's 7/74, most of his wickets through short-pitched bowling, gave India a memorable triumph and a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

India's only other Test win at Lord's was in June 1986 under Kapil Dev's captaincy. Yesterday's success also halted India's 15-match winless Test streak overseas. This was their first victory on foreign soil since June, 2011.

Here are the pictures from India's victory at Lord's.
