KPL: Robin Uthappa to miss two matches

KPL begins in Mysore tomorrow. However, Tuskers play their first match on August 30 against Belagavi Panthers. Their second game is against Rockstars the next day (August 31).

Uthappa will miss these two matches and will return to action on September 3 when Tuskers face Hubli Tigers in Mysore.

"There is no injury. It is just a niggle. I will be playing from September 3," Uthappa told Thatscricket on Wednesday.

Uthappa is the costliest player in KPL, having fetched a price of Rs 5.3 lakhs from Tuskers.

This is also good news for Kolkata Knight Riders team as well as the wicketkeeper-batsman will be seen in action next month in the Champions League T20 (CLT20).
