Bangalore, Aug 27: Karnataka Premier League 2014 (KPL) Twenty20 tournament will get under way in Mysore tomorrow (August 28). The tickets for the opening two games have been sold out, according to the hosts Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA).
KSCA secretary Brijesh Patel said the tickets for the first two matches were sold out and there was excitement among fans to watch the action at the venue - Gangothri Glades.
However, those who cannot make it to the ground, can enjoy the action on TV. "Sony SIX" is the official broadcaster of KPL for this year.
"Sony SIX" will telecast all matches Live from tomorrow on High Definition (HD) and also on Standard-definition (SD).
"IPL (Indian Premier League) is on Sony SIX and KPL is also on the same channel," said Patel.
KPL opens in Mysore with a game between Mangalore United and Rockstars at 5 PM on Thursday (August 28). The final will be in Hubli on September 12. There are seven teams in the fray.
