The multiple Olympic and world champion and 100m world record holder Bolt will face off Yuvraj and Harbhajan in an exhibition cricket match (7-a-side) today at Bangalore' Chinnaswamy Stadium. The charity event is organised by Puma.
At the same event, apart from cricket, Bolt wants to see Yuvraj and Harbhajan run 100m race. The Jamaican is on his maiden visit to India.
When asked what target would he give Yuvraj and Harbhajan to run a 100m race, Bolt said at a Puma event, "I want them to run in 14 or 14.5 seconds." Bolt holds the world record in 100m with a time of 9.58 seconds.
Bolt said he would ask the duo during the cricket match today to also run at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
When also queried about who is the fastest running cricketer, he replied, "Definitely not Chris Gayle." However, he paused and could not recall the name of AB de Villiers as he said, "He plays with Gayle, I am not getting his name (AB de Villiers)." When the crowd shouted the South African batsman's name, he said yes.
It will be interesting to see whether the Indian pair accepts the challenge and run the race in under 14.5 seconds.
