KSCA gives Usain Bolt honorary lifetime membership

Bangalore, Sep 2: The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) today honoured Jamaican Olympic and world sprint champion Usain Bolt with an honorary lifetime membership of both KSCA and its clubhouse.

Bolt, the fastest man on the planet, was at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium today to take part in a exhibition cricket match against India left-hander Yuvraj Singh. It was Bolt show all the way and over 5,000 fans enjoyed his presence. The event was organised by Puma.

KSCA gives Bolt honorary membership

Later, after the match, KSCA announced that the world recor holder of 100 metres would be made an honorary lifetime member.

"It gives me immense pleasure to announce that the world famous sprinter termed as the "Fastest Man in the World" was here at KSCA for a promotional event. KSCA is happy to announce that Usain Bolt was felicitated today and KSCA has honoured him with an Honorary Lifetime Membership of both KSCA and KSCA Clubhouse," KSCA said in a press release on Tuesday.

"President of KSCA Mr. Ashok Anand did the honours by felicitating Usain Bolt. Also present were Vice President - Mr. Sudhakar Rao, Asst Secretary - Mr. Santosh Menon and KSCA Official Spokesperson Mr. Vinay Mruthyunjaya," the release added.
