Bangalore, Sep 2: 'Speed king' Usain Bolt showed his cricket skills here at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, smashing five sixes including two successive ones to seal the exhibition four-over match against Team Yuvraj Singh during an event organised by Puma.

All the memorable photos are here

Bolt's maiden visit to India was a memorable one for the Jamaican himself and over 5,000 fans who were at the stadium on a wet Tuesday evening. A brief spell of rain threatened to play spoilsport but clear skies and floodlights took full effect as the world record holder of 100 metres took centrestage. Bolt sported jersey number 9.58 (his 100m world record time of 9.58 seconds).

In the end it was all in good fun between Puma ambassadors Bolt and Yuvraj. Bolt, who dreamt of becoming a cricketer as a child, showed he can still wield the willow. The 28-year-old remained unbeaten on 45 off 19 balls in the four overs per side contest. Harbhajan Singh was on Bolt's side. Both Bolt and Yuvraj opened bowling and batting for their teams.

Bolt hit Yuvraj for two sixes. While chasing 59 to win off four overs, Team Bolt needed 20 off the final over bowled by Aditya Tare, who came on to bowl giving his wicketkeeping gloves to captain Yuvraj.

Team Bolt needed 10 runs of the final two balls. The penultimate ball was hit for six and the next was missed by Bolt. But for the Jamaican's luck, umpire BK Ravi signalled no-ball with Tare overstepping. A freehit off the final delivery of the match was hit over the boundary by Bolt and he broke into celebrations.

Yuvraj said later, "I think the referee (umpire) is from Jamaica," referring to the noball.

Earlier, Bolt, Yuvraj and Harbhajan were involved in a bowl-out. Also, Yuvraj and Bolt faced off trying to hit the longest six, against tennis balls.

Later, after the cricket match, Yuvraj and Bolt raced for 100 metres and the left-hander beat the Jamaican. At the end of the day, Bolt won at Yuvraj's game - cricket and the India beat Bolt at his own sport. But, all that was for fun.

Brief Scores

Team Yuvraj 58/1 in 4 overs (Yuvraj Singh 24 (14 balls, 1x6, 3x4, out once -4 runs), Aditya Tare 29 (5x4, 1x6)

Team Bolt 61/0 in 4 overs (Usain Bolt 45 not out (19 balls, 5x6, 3x4), Nugent Walker Jr 14 (6 balls, 3x4)
