Bangalore, Sep 9: Former India captain Bishan Singh Bedi has labelled banned Pakistan offspinner Saeed Ajmal as "big shark" and wants the International Cricket Council (ICC) to catch the many 'chucking' 'sharks' who are still at large.
On Tuesday, ICC suspended Ajmal from bowling in international cricket as his bowling action was found illegal after analysis found his deliveries exceeding the 15 degrees level of tolerance.
Reacting to the news, Bedi, who has always voiced his opinions against chucking in cricket, tweeted: "At long last ICC nets a big shark but not b4 it devoured more than 350 Intnl scalps!Tragedy remains as many 'chucking' sharks still at large."

ICC, in the recent past, has been tough on bowlers with suspected bowling actions. Apart from Ajmal, Sachithra Senanayake, Kane Williamson and Prosper Utseya were also called by umpires for supect bowling actions.
